OUR PURPOSE

The City of Emporia, Virginia is home to a signifcant youth population, with nearly one in four residents under the age of 18. Public Data and local assessments highlight ongoing challenges related to graduation outcomes and social-emotinal support for young people. While our community benefits from dedicated after-school and support services, there remains a need for structured, cohort-based programs focused specifically on resilience, leadership development, and personal accountability. R3P was created to meet that need — providing intentional, measurable youth development rooted in the realities and strengths of our local community.
